Hello, fellow parents!

I'm Ida, and I understand the weight of choosing someone to care for your child.

As a Montessori-trained educator and mother of two in Hong Kong, I've been where you are — searching for guidance you can trust. Evolve Sprouts was born from that very search.

My Story

From the boardroom to the classroom

After years working in media and hospitality, I felt a growing pull toward something more meaningful, understanding children and supporting families during the years that shape everything.

That decision led me back to university. I earned a Master’s in Education from HKU, completed an AMI Montessori Assistant Diploma (0–3) in London, and an AMI Montessori Diploma (3–6) in San Diego, California. I also hold certifications in Child Nutrition from Stanford University and specialised training in Montessori emotional well-being.

For several years, I worked hands-on with children aged 1–6 at Hong Kong’s International Montessori School (IMS), observing closely how children grow when the adults around them understand their developmental needs.

That experience changed how I see childhood, and the role adults play in it.

Today, my work focuses on helping the adults around the child: parents and caregivers. Because what happens in everyday moments at home shapes a child far more than occasional lessons or activities.

I also bring this work into my own life every day with my two daughters, where Montessori is not just a philosophy I teach, it’s how we live.

My goal is simple: to help families create calmer homes, raise capable children, and feel confident in the way they guide their child’s growth.

My Montessori Journey

Parenting isn't about perfection. It's about progress

As a mum of two, I've learned that the best parenting happens when we slow down, listen, and give our children space to grow. Montessori principles have transformed how I approach motherhood — and how I help other families do the same.

  • Progress at Home

Watching my daughters pour their own water, resolve conflicts with kindness, and embrace mistakes as learning — that didn’t happen without struggle.

  • Growth in Me

I’ve cried after losing my temper. I’ve doubted every choice. Montessori didn’t just shape my children’s growth — it transformed mine.

  • What It Taught Me

Replace guilt with grace. See misbehaviour as unmet needs, not defiance. Build a home where both children and parents feel truly seen — not perfect, just growing.

Why Us

It takes a village. But you need to choose yours carefully

In Hong Kong, families often rely on domestic helpers for childcare — yet helpers rarely receive formal training in child development. Evolve Sprouts exists to bridge that gap: to give your helper the skills, language, and confidence to raise your children with your values.

  • A Specialised Course for Hong Kong Families

Train your helper to understand Montessori principles, communicate calmly with toddlers, and raise your children with your values.

  • Expert Guidance

Backed by AMI Montessori certification, HKU Master's research, and real parenting experience.

  • Practical, Not Theoretical

Every session builds skills you'll use in your home — with your exact routines and your specific challenges.

  • Real Change, Real Fast

Families see tangible shifts within weeks: calmer mornings, happier afternoons, genuine growth.
