Why Choosing My Best Auntie Training Course

Are you searching for the perfect auntie who understands your child’s unique needs? We know how challenging it is to entrust your child’s care to someone else. You want to ensure they’re in the best hands, and we’re here to help.

Three years ago, I found myself in a situation that many parents can relate to: the daunting task of finding the perfect auntie for my 1 year old child. I was filled with worry and a multitude of questions. Who could I trust to care for my little one as much as I do? I needed someone who would not only ensure my child’s safety but also valued independence, resilience, and positivity. It was important to find someone who appreciated the significance of fostering an environment where my child could thrive, learn, and develop a sense of self-confidence and independence.

After extensive searching, I finally found a wonderful auntie who had the potential to be an incredible caregiver. However, I realised that she needed some additional training to fully understand and implement the values and principles that were so important to our family. So, I took the time to train her, equipping her with the knowledge and tools necessary to support my child’s development effectively.

This experience is why I am so passionate about this workshop. I know that aunties love the children they care for deeply, and through this workshop, we aim to equip aunties with the skills and understanding they need to foster a nurturing, supportive, and enriching environment for children. By working together, we can ensure that every child receives the best possible care and guidance, aligned with the values we hold dear.

I know some of the challenges we face:

  • Lack of Independence: Some parents feel that aunties tend to do everything for the child, leaving little room for the child to develop independence and self-reliance.
  • Overuse of Screens: There are concerns about aunties relying too much on screens to keep children occupied, which can hinder the child’s development and creativity.
  • Inconsistent Routines: Parents sometimes find that aunties do not follow consistent routines, which can be unsettling for children and disrupt their sense of security.
  • Limited Engagement: Some parents feel that aunties do not engage with the child in meaningful activities or educational play, missing opportunities to support the child’s growth.
  • Communication Issues: There can be a lack of effective communication between parents and aunties, leading to misunderstandings and unmet expectations.

My Best Auntie Training Course is designed specifically for aunties in Hong Kong, offering them the knowledge and skills to provide your child with a nurturing, Montessori-inspired environment.

Why Choosing a Montessori Auntie Training Course

  • Empathy and Understanding: Montessori training provides aunties with a deep understanding of child development stages. Knowing what is age-appropriate helps in setting realistic expectations and responding compassionately to a child’s needs and emotions.
  • Tailored to Your Child’s Needs: The Montessori approach respects your child’s individuality, promoting independence and fostering their natural curiosity. This training ensures that your auntie can create a home-like environment where your child can thrive.
  • Encouraging Independence: Our course emphasizes allowing children to explore and experiment, fostering their independence by letting them do things for themselves. Your auntie will learn to support your child’s efforts without taking over, nurturing their confidence and self-reliance.
  • Supporting Well-being: During this course, aunties will be equipped to provide not just physical care but emotional support, ensuring your child’s overall well-being. They create a secure, loving environment where your child feels safe and valued.
  • Avoiding Screen Dependency: We address common concerns such as children being left in front of screens while eating or while the auntie is cooking. Our training promotes active, hands-on engagement, ensuring your child is involved in meaningful activities rather than passive screen time.
  • Empowering Self-Feeding: Some children struggle with eating by themselves or are treated too much like babies. Our course teaches aunties how to empower children to eat independently, fostering skills that boost their self-confidence and development.
